Smart Door Sensor is a Wi-Fi smart home device that allows users to monitor their houses in real time whether someone opened their doors or windows. The main piece of the Smart Door Sensor attaches on the door x-frame, and the other attaches parallel on the door itself. When the door is shut, the two parts of the Smart Door Sensor creates a closed circuit. If the door is opened, the magnet and the switch seperate, breaking the circuit. When the circuit breaks, it sends a signal to the minibig app, in turn x-alerting the user. Such x-alert is sent through a push message, and users can disable it if they want to.
By using the minibig app, users can constantly monitor if the door is opened or shut. Also Smart Door Sensor runs on batteries, so users can check how much battery is left in the device through the app.
Also if a user wants to check the logs of when the door was opened and shut, he or she can check the previous logs on the minibig app. On this log, users can see if the door was opened or shut, the time when it happened, and the date as well.
